Founded in August 2004, Bestshore is a young,
entrepreneurial, consulting and technology solutions provider
specialised in the shipping, ports and logistics industry.

All our staffs have spent the majority of their
working lives in ports, shipping or logistics. Increased
competition, new business models and new technologies coupled with
the effects of the global financial crisis make the transport
industry one of the most challenging sectors to work in. The

When it comes to developing technology
solutions, the devil's in the detail. At Bestshore, all our
solutions are developed on the basis of a thorough understanding of
the business domain and the business processes involved.
At the same time, nothing gets us more excited

We practice what we preach
Within Bestshore, we use technology as part of
our own internal strategy for promoting innovation and agility. We
use Groove Virtual Office (now part of MS Office 2007) to tie our
distributed network of offices and consultants, working in Britain,
Bulgaria, Denmark and New Zealand together. The Groove platform
gives our consultants the space and the tools to develop and explore
innovative ideas. Our flat management structure gives our
consultants the freedom to develop innovative solutions. And our
supportive culture provides each consultant with a bank of friends
they can pull on to help them realize their own ideas.

We don't just use Groove to coordinate with one
another internally. We also use Groove to collaborate with our
clients on their projects. So when we work with our clients, our
clients are as tightly integrated in the solution development
process as every one of our own consultants and developers.
